If I am a SGN member, can my colleagues watch a webinar with me?
Yes of course, any of your colleagues are welcome to tune in for our webinars with you. However, please note for compliance reasons, we can only issue one CPD cert per membership, which will be to you, the registered member. If your colleagues are not SGN members but would like to view a webinar and receive a CPD cert, they are welcome to purchase any webinar on a Pay-As-You-Go basis for just €77 per webinar.
My colleague is already a member of Solicitors Growth Network. Is there a reduced rate for additional members within the same firm?
Yes, we offer a reduced membership rate for any additional colleagues within your firm. Please get in contact with us and we can confirm the correct membership rate for you.
If I cannot make a live webinar, where can I view it at a later stage?
We understand that it may not always be possible for you to tune in for the live webinars. Don’t worry, we provide a replay for all webinars within 24 hours of the live recording. Replays will be circulated by email to all members and can also be viewed anytime in the Members Hub.
Will SGN membership cover my full CPD requirements for the year?
Yes – we provide you with over 20 hours of online CPD training for the year covering all categories from Professional Development and Solicitor Wellbeing, Client Care and Professional Standards, General and Regulatory. We also host an annual 5 hour in-person complimentary event which covers the required 5 hours of In-Person CPD as outlined by the Law Society of Ireland. Are the In-Person events included in my membership?
Our Roadshow event is complimentary for SGN members to attend and each event provides 5 hours of In-Person CPD. However, we do require a small booking fee to secure your place which is refunded once attendance has been confirmed. This is to ensure that we are adequately prepared for the number of attendees.
Is it possible to post anonymously in the SGN Members Hub?
Yes. Our SGN Members Hub is a safe and secure forum where our members can post queries, share insights and ask for feedback from their fellow colleagues without judgement. However we understand that there may be situations where confidentiality may be required. If you would like us to post a question anonymously on your behalf, just pop us a message at info@solicitorsgrowth.com.
How often do the webinars take place?
Webinars generally run on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of every month at 1pm, excluding August, however their can be changes to this from time to time, and all replays are hosted and accessible 24/7 within our private SG community platform.
What are the payment options for membership?
You have two choices for paying membership. Either pay monthly for just €57 per month, or €597 per year. You can select which option you prefer at the checkout stage.
What happens when my membership is up for renewal?
Your membership is set to automatically renew each year on the renewal date so if you are happy to continue your membership, there’s no need for you to do anything. However, we will send out a renewal notice, just to advise you of this.
I viewed a webinar and haven’t received my CPD cert. What should I do?
We understand that our members are often tuning into our webinars on the go, or from a different device so may not always have access to their registered member email for logging in. Using an alternative email address to view a webinar may result in the CPD cert not being sent automatically as it would usually. Or sometimes the CPD cert may end up in the Spam folder. If you are missing a CPD cert, simply get in touch with us and we can issue the cert manually.
How do I cancel my membership?
If you’d like to cancel your membership, simply pop us a message on info@solicitorsgrowth.com to let us know. We will begin the offboarding process ASAP and make contact with you once this has completed.
Can I cancel my membership at any time?
There is a minimum 12 month commitment from the day of registration for new members. This is because once you have joined as a member, you have instant access to the full vault of webinars from 2021 to the most recent on replay in our Members Hub. However, after this twelve moth period, you can cancel your membership at any time.
